CLEAN INGREDIENTS

We strive to bring our mission forward. Healthy skin, healthy people, healthy planet. We support local suppliers whenever possible. When we venture outside of Hawaii, we source our raw ingredients from suppliers who are certified organic, certified non-gmo, and fair trade whenever possible (which is almost always). Our organic fair-trade shea butter is verified by ECOCERT / Cosmos approved.  Most of our suppliers are active in, and support, sustainable fair-trade practices. All suppliers are cruelty free. We are cruelty free and vegan certified by the Leaping Bunny program and the PETA Beauty Without Bunnies program.
 

CLEAN CONTAINERS

Most of our products are housed in reusable, recyclable glass bottles & jars. Glass is awesome and has nothing to hide, like chemicals and BPA's leaching into your product and ultimately into your skin. 
 

CLEAN PACKAGING

In an effort to reduce waste, we've eliminated outer packaging.
 

SHIPPING MATERIALS

You may receive your shipment in a box that is not pretty. We reuse, reuse, reuse until we can't reuse again. We purchase only recycled cardboard boxes, biodegradable, compostable, or recycled fillers, bubble wrap, and poly bags. We don't buy bubble wrap and other not-earth-friendly packing but you may receive some of it with your order because we reuse the filler from shipments we receive from our suppliers. This pack-rat behavior keeps it out of the landfill that much longer.

LABELS

A no-tree, no-water, no-chlorine mineral film made from recycled post-construction limestone and marble waste that completely biodegrades in nine months.

We strongly advocate discontinuing single use plastics. For those of you not already doing this, if you were to keep the idea of "where is this container going to end up when I'm done with it" in your mind while shopping for groceries, skincare, make-up, toiletries, etc. you would notice how much plastic is used once for packaging and discarded. For us, it was a wake up realization that our buying habits can have an impact on our environment, both positive and negative. By using reusable & recyclable containers and eliminating outer packaging, we are keeping the leached toxins out of your skin care products and also encouraging mindful purchasing habits. Mahalo.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS HAND CRAFTED? 

Yes, our products are made by hand in small batches on the North Shore of O'ahu. With Aloha. It's simply beautiful here and you can feel the vibe coming through our products to you, wherever you are.
 

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ORGANIC & VEGAN? 

Yes, our products are made with certified organic, plant-derived ingredients. The products themselves are not certified organic and we do not use beeswax.
 

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CHEMICAL & CRUELTY FREE?

Yes! We keep it clean. We do not test our products on animals nor do our suppliers. We are Leaping Bunny certified and PETA certified through their Beauty Without Bunnies program. You can find us in their list of companies who are cruelty free and vegan. 
 

SHELF LIFE?

Please use your product(s) within 3 months of purchase. Please store out of direct sunlight in a cool dry place and used immediately.  *** If you notice a change in color or odor, immediately discontinue use.

Try to keep water out of the bottle or jar as water can host bacteria and spawn mold, fungus, and eww. 

If you’ve purchased one our AMAZING scrub blends, please try to keep water out of the jar. Water will likely get in there if you’re using it in the shower or tub. When this happens, just keep using it, often. Don’t leave it for weeks to potentially grow mold, bacteria, and :(  Your skin love the exfoliation & nourishment and you will not give bacteria time to infiltrate your delectable product(s).
 

WHY IS MY SCRUB HARD?

Coconut oil solidifies at lower temps, 76° F / 24°C. This won't affect the integrity of your product, only the consistency at lower temperatures. If hardness happens, set the jar in a basin, bowl, pan, etc of warm water until the oil starts to soften. Give a stir and you're ready to scrub. Try to keep water out of the jar.
 

HOW LONG BEFORE YOU SHIP MY ORDER?

Aim HI Every Day is a made-to-order fresh product. In order to ensure maximum freshness, we will whip up and ship your goodies within five business days of receipt of your order. 
 

WHY DON'T YOU USE PLASTIC CONTAINERS? GLASS IS SO HEAVY, IT BREAKS, ETC...

We get asked this question all the time. With plastic comes the known and proven toxic chemical leaching from the container into the product and ultimately into our skin. No thanks. Although glass is a bit heavier, it eliminates the leaching problem. We also look to the well documented and negative environmental impact of single use plastics we as consumers have the power to correct with our purchasing habits. Pre-cycle, my friends.
